This is the letter of recommendation my bosses wrote for me

In order to make this ungoogleable I have omitted my name and the business name from the letter. Other than that, this is what they wrote for me.

To Members of the Crompton Scholarship Committee,

Among the many talented, passionate folks we are blessed to have on our staff at ________, ___________ is
unmatched in her dedication to the American Cheese Society and American Artisan Cheese in general; its ideals
and its activities. In my years of looking at her peers across industry and geography, I can honestly say that she has
few if any peers in this regard at her level of seniority. I fully realize that in an industry of dedicated, passionate
cheese mongers, producers and aficionados, which is a strong and weighty allegation to make, so I’ll share a few
examples.

􏰀
Despite the limited financial resources of a cheese counter professional, ________ joined the ACS as an individual
member out of her own pocket, not realizing that _______________ membership might cover hers. ________ has been willing
to attend ACS Conference without pay and solely for the love of the content, the camaraderie and the
betterment of the industry. She takes all that she learns back to the end consumer as well as generously sharing
and advocating amongst co-workers.

􏰀
Over the past almost two years, __________ has very actively and creatively volunteered on ACS committees,
especially the Marketing and Communications Committee, where she and our Board VP and another senior
industry figure pretty much single-handedly launched the ACS social networking strategy and implementation;
filling the void not being addressed by FSA and in advance of an ACS staff MarCom Manager. Her
involvement is almost daily and has been totally volunteer, consuming many hours of her dedicated personal time
to the benefit of the organization without complaint or compensation. This is in addition to working full time for
_____________.

􏰀
Additionally, __________ combs the news wires and the internet for relevant content to bring to the fore on behalf of
ACS and also finds time to write an insightful cheese blog that is followed by some of the more well-known
cheese-followers and culinary professionals in the country.

In short, I can think of no one more deserving of a retail scholarship to attend the ACS Conference in Seattle, not
only because she has already given so much of herself to the organization, but because she takes everything she
learns and experiences at ACS, savors it and shares it generously and knowledgeably with others. It would be
scholarship money well-spent indeed.
