Last evening Daniel heard a commotion in the barn and investigated. There was a cow lying on her back in the hay rack kicking and bawling. Just as the men and boys reached her she drew her last breath. Quick action was taken and she is now ready for hamburger. This cow was noted to be a nosy one and got herself into trouble.
