Thanks so much! I saw this post on Thursday morning, when I was finishing up my paper (it turned out to be too short, so I had to scramble and add two more pages, sigh). It was very cheering to read, and the talk went fine.
And tonight there was a banquet, with funny speeches in Latin. No, really: laugh out loud funny. What? Doesn't everybody find reference to Vergil hilarious? Or Garison Keeler, intentionally mis-translated into Latin?
