What day is it?

Here's how I celebrated National Train day:

I got on the 55 bus to the green line. I got about halfway through my journey when a voice come on over the intercom. The voice informed me that instead of taking me to work, the train would NOT take me to work. It would drop me off an unknown number of blocks away from work and would give me the opportunity to find my own way to work. It seems that no trains are running in the "loop" on this weekend because the city is celebrating train day by doing massive work on the tracks.

Stupid train day.
