Last night was the “Tree Lighting”. There were suitable quantities of shrieking urchins running about in the dark, a Santa in the fire truck, and just a hint of snow. It became cool later, and this morning it was undeniably cold, with wind, getting to a high of 15. Alas, the power went out this afternoon which caused a House Cooling Down event which was not received with the best of humor by some parties. Its 11 now and not even 8:30. Sigh
