Lyme Inn

Moving along in my Quest to Dominate the World, today I made an opening offer of $370 on the Alden Inn.
To bring y'all up to date...
Tom Leonard and I are forming an LLC to own and run the Alden Inn. It will no longer be called that, but instead, it will be the Lyme Inn. I have coined, "End of the Common" as our tag-line, and I will probably copyright it, because...hello...it is brilliant.
Tom is about 10 years younger than me and has worked in hospitality his whole life. He has an industry awareness that I believe would give a Cornell honor student a run for her money. He probably didn't go beyond high school. I am the senior partner. I am providing an opening to the world of "How's It Go?" He has run many companies and never started any. I have started many companies, and never run any well (mostly because I lost interest). I think we bring excellent complementary skills. I am a bit more dispassionate.
Of course Ola is involved, as we both are, always, in each other's ideas.
Agela has been invited to be our Exec Chef, and if the deal goes through, she will take a couple of days out here for what we are calling a "Duck-Off", so Tom and she can see if they are compatible and have similar senses of taste and like ideas on other important food qualifications that I don't care that much about (although I DO recognize that it is essential to our success).
If THAT works out...

BUT

Negotiations are very fluid right now, and details are literally changing three times a day.
There is about a 50/50 chance this will work out. Those are out-of-my-ass odds. I can see all manner of variables, and I can't quite see the finished mosaic.

Up to date, and up to the minute.

That tag-line is the best! I have my fingers crossed really hard on this one. Sounds like such an amazing, wonderful project.
