Please post this on Blogstroms for me:
How about buying some Hooters restaurants?

That’s the question investors may soon be pondering as a sale of the chain’s New England operations is contemplated.

The local franchise owners of the restaurant chain, known for its mix of scantily clad waitresses and fast food, recently prevailed in a battle with their Atlanta-based corporate parent.

The local franchise operators, who filed for bankruptcy, rebuffed an attempt by Hooters of America to strip them of their franchise rights.

Now a committee of creditors has hired an accounting firm and is exploring, among other things, the sale of the local Hooters franchises, according to a bankruptcy court filing.
