I may have posted this already, but the archives don’t show it. This is my mother’s father’s family as arrived in 1885 from Mocker(?) Germany. He’s the kid, Ewald.
He was a principal at a company which became Eaton, Yale and Towne. That company was then renamed and reconfigured into a company called 'Eaton' - a Fortune 500 company that may itself have merged with yet another - I don't know.
Yale was known for its lock assemblies; Ewald's contribution was the little air-thingamijig on tires. I don't remember what Towne was.
