As you know, celebrations here are not rigidly attached to actual calendar dates, so today the 2nd was July 4th. We had the Rolling Band, and a good assortment of older vehicles, one of which was a Bugatti Type 57, which is worth more than our house!

Here in Chicago they set off fireworks on 7/3 and 7/4. I will not be attending either. If there was an awesome parade, I'd go. Alas there's not one that I know off.
