All Gone

As you know I have peculiar reading habits, usually reading several books at once and rarely from the front to the back. Therefore it will not be a surprise to hear that I have just now “finished” a magnificent book given to me for Christmas, “Tugboats of New York”.

The book chronicles with great accuracy and feeling the conclusion of New York as a great commercial port, and the subsequent decline of the tugboat industry.

A picture on page 232 has no title, but shows a 1941 Tug towing the 1907 Lightship Ambrose. It was taken in 1989.
